La Sirena CN Mataró and Vouliagmeni NC will fight to raise the LEN Trophy tomorrow. Both teams have reached a needed victory and will face each other in an extremely disputed final after beating Russian Uralochka and Szentesi VK, respectively.

Vouliagmeni NC and Szentesi VK played the first semifinal ending up with a victory for Vouliagmeni. The Russian team made a great beginning that led them to the final victory. Alexa Kammenou players have come out with a good initial quarter (6-1), which has definitely surprised the whole Hungarian team. In the second quarter Szentesi’s coach Tóth has reacted and has made the girls shorten the difference, getting to the break with an 8-4.
However, they were unable to reach the Greek team, that has attacked constantly for the rest of the match, also controlling the number of exclusions. That’s what made them get a final score of 12-9, which brings them directly to the final tomorrow at 8:45pm against an empowered La Sirena CN Mataró, who’s playing at home.
La Sirena CN Mataro 16-12 Uralochka Zlatoust
The game started with a very effective Russian team in superiorities, and has managed to put fear in the locals winning at the end of the first quarter (2-3).
In the second quarter La Sirena reacted, and La Sirena girls have taken advantage of its superiority to open the lead to 5-3. The Uralochka responded with a goal of Neznamova, but a great chip and Laura Lopez and Ona Meseguer superiority has led them to the break winning 7-4.
In the second half, the Catalan set played pushed by its audience and opened the scoring with its international player Roser Tarragó (7 goals), Ciara Gibson (3), Ona Meseguer (3) and Laura Lopez (3). The group will host the final.
